The Roncal Cheese is only made with milk, rennet and salt; therefore it never loses its characteristics, flavor nor aroma.

It is a cheese with a color between white and yellow, having a strong flavor, somewhat spicy and buttery to the palled.

This magnificent cheese obtained the denomination of Origin (D.O.) Roncal with the name of one of the seven municipalities that form the Valley of Roncal.

It is the first Spanish cheese that obtained the denomination of Origin

CHEESE OLD GRAND RESERVE RONKARI D.O. RONCAL - NAVARRA

The Roncal cheese comes from milking of sheep races "Rasa" and also from "Latxa".

The latxa sheep milk is one of the main factors that make the Roncal cheese distinguish itself from the rest. It is the native sheep of Navarre and Basque Country and is of prehistoric origin.  which It has maintained almost unchanged and has kept it’s original features.

It is primarily used for dairy products and has been adapted to the rugged geography in which it grazes. The sheelps main diet is natural fresh grass that grows in the mountains. It produces a limited quantity of milk, but of excellent quality, richness and aroma.

Roncal cheese is only made with milk, rennet and salt.

The denomination of Origin Roncal adhere to the seven municipalities that form the
