We offer this wonderful Iberian ham 75% Pure Breed from Montesano

Possibly one of the best pieces of Iberian ham in Spain

A natural and unique food from the ecosystem of the meadows from Extremadura. Made from free roaming the pigs, in continuous movement and grazing exclusively on acorn and grass. The result speaks for its self!

This is a natural curation with an exquisite treatment that, with the help of "time", creates one of the most splendid products we can offer you

Regulation of Iberian Ham:

  • The animals must have a minimum of 75% Iberian purity of breed (The mother must be 100% Iberian Breed)
  • 60 days minimum acorn feeding and must gain a minimum of 46 kg in that time.
  • The acorn grazing period is from October 1. to December 15.
  • Nutrition: acorns and resources form the meadows
  • Minimum age of pig slaughter is 14 months
  • Minimum slaughter weight shall be 115 kg
  • Free roaming animals
  • The only one with denomination of origin and 100% “pata negra”
